Why we do this
We work with local authorities because we offer a solution to the cycle of homelessness rather than a temporary patch on it. A household placed into a well-managed, compliant home with genuine support behind it is far less likely to present again, and that is better for the resident, the borough and the taxpayer.
Our holistic support model
- Employment. CV writing, interview preparation and introductions to local recruitment opportunities.
- Education. Help navigating school admissions so children have immediate access to a school place.
- Financial support. Identifying and applying for government grants and hardship funds.
- Health. Direct referrals to local GPs and mental health support groups for residents who need them.
What it means for our partners
For a commissioner it means fewer escalations and fewer repeat presentations. For a landlord it means residents who stay, look after the property and pay on time. The two are not in tension; they are the same thing viewed from different sides.
